CABE (California Association for Bilingual Education) Conference When: March 1-4, 2006 Where: San Jose McEnery Convention Center, 408 Almaden Blvd., San Jose, CA What: CABE is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1976 to promote bilingual education and quality educational experiences for all students in California. It has 7,000 members with over 60 chapters/affiliates, all working to promote equity and student achievement for students with diverse cultural, racial, and linguistic backgrounds. The CREEC Network brings together local, state, and federal agencies to support environmental education across California. The CREEC Network is funded by the California Department of Education, Mathematics and Science Leadership Office, Environmental Education Program. Additional grants and partnerships are sought from other state and local agencies to build the capacity of the CREEC Network regionally and statewide. The CREEC Network is directed by Celeste Royer.
