SERVICE-LEARNING WATERSHED PROJECT MINI GRANTS up to $2000 now available for Del Norte, Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma Counties

Projects must be focused on watershed-related restoration and/or management. Required elements include: (1) forming a consortium with community partners that will support teams of secondary teachers and students working with higher education faculty and studetns for collaborative projects, (2) at least one watershed related benefit to the community that you will evaulate and report upon, and (3) a dollar for dollar match (may be in-kind). Coastwalk offers Student Grants for each of their California Coastal Summer Hiking & Camping Adventures. Choose from 20 different adventures throughout California! ARCATA FOUNDATION GRANT

The Arcata Foundation Fund, established in 1987, is dedicated to the enhancement of community life in Arcata and facilitates charitable giving and raises funds to support work in the areas of human services, education of all ages, art, culture, local history, healthful recreation, peace and enhancement of local natural surroundings.  Applications are due on May 15 and December 15.
