Inyo Outdoor Education Program
The Inyo County Office of Education operates a small, residential outdoor science school for local 5th and 6th graders at the Bernasconi Education Center at the base of the Eastern Sierra in Big Pine. Students and their teachers participate in a variety of field lessons and activities to learn general principles of ecology and develop positive social skills.
