CAMP CHICO CREEK - Summer 2008 Centered at the Chico Creek Nature Center, in the heart of Bidwell Park, Camp Chico Creek is eight, one-week sessions of environmental education-based day camp for children 5 through 11 years old. Camp is held 8am -1pm each day.
Who: General public, Children ages Pre-K to 11 yrs. old When: June 9th - August 8th 8 weekly sessions available
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m - Monday - Friday
Cost: $75 per child

SAMPLE ACTIVITY GUIDE FOR NATURAL RESOURCE AGENCIES Education Coordinators that participated in the environmental education workshops during May can view a sample environmental education activity. The activity topic is Adaptation of Plants and Animals to the Whiskeytown Area. The activity is correlated to California Science Standards and the Environmental Principles and Concepts for 3rd, 4th and 7th grades. This information will remain on the web page until September 30, 2008.
