1.  Cow Creek Watershed Caravan-Fenwood Ranch
Redding, California
Who: General Public
When:  Sunday, May 17, 2009
Time: Starts at 12 noon
Cost:  $25 members, $27 non-members
Participate in a driving tour of SLT conserved properties. Begin with a packed lunch at Fenwood Ranch and finish with a bit of wine overlooking the Cow Creek Watershed from Hathaway Ranch.

2.  Family Day at Hathaway Ranch
Hathaway Ranch, Redding, California
Who: General Public, families
When: Saturday, June 13, 2009
Time: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Cost: Adult $17, Children (under 12) $12
Discover creeks, meadows, and woodlands through hands-on exploration with knowledgeable guides. Participate as a family in such activities as learning to use GPS, guided hikes, nature-inspired arts and crafts, and an old-fashioned guitar sing-along.

3.  Hathaway Stargazing Camp Out
Hathaway Ranch, Redding, California
Who: General Public
When: Saturday, August 15 – Sunday, August 16
Time: Begins at 5:00 PM
Cost: Adult $17, Children (under 12) $12
Bring the whole family to marvel at the expansive views and summer meteor showers on the Swede Creek Plains located on the 6,000 acre Hathaway Ranch. Enjoy a picnic supper after setting up your campsite, and wake up to a prepared breakfast. Families are welcome.
