New report says salmon, steelhead and trout in danger of extinction
Photo courtesy of California Trout The redband trout on the McCloud River is among seven north state fish that could go extinct in the next 100 years, according to a report by California Trout. Along with appearances in the San Francisco Chronicle, Sacramento Bee and L.A. Times, Killam said pictures of the big fish have made it onto television on Fox News and “Live With Regis and Kelly.” “I got a call from my family on the East Coast saying they just saw me on TV,” Killam said.
