E Tech - Emerging Energy Technologies
, a grant funded partnership with:
  1. Shasta Union High School District
  2. Anderson Union High School District
  3. Shasta-Trinity ROP
  4. Shasta College
High school students can now prepare for careers in the new energy economy. The initial focus areas will be Solar Energy Careers and Wind Power Careers. Become an E Tech pathways student by contacting your high school counselor. E Tech  students have the opportunity to earn both high school and Shasta College credits through co-enrollment courses. Advising and some financial assistance is available to cover:
  1. Shasta College fees
  2. Textbooks
  3. Tutoring assistance
  4. Transportation assistance

Alternative Energy-Sustainability Classes
Shasta College-Economic and Workforce Development
Who: Contractors, Homeowners and Students
When: Courses begin January 2009
What:  Short courses that provide introductory and technical knowledge in topics such as; Green Remodeling, Water Wise Landscaping, Wind Energy, Alternative Energy Production, and Recycling Strategies.
