Model Environmental Education Programs

Many teachers across California conduct exemplary environmental education programs in their classrooms to connect students with the environment while teaching content standards. These programs offer hands-on learning opportunities for students and promote environmental service learning projects in the community. The CREEC Network is happy to showcase some of these model programs from Alameda and Costa Costa Counties (thanks to the generous support of StopWaste.Org).

We invite teachers to learn more about how they can provide similar opportunities to their students so that all children grow up connected to the environment and eager to make a difference in their own communities. The five school programs listed below are willing to share their successes with you. Please contact Laura Powell if you have an EE program at your school that you wish showcased on our website.
