Life on the Planet: Milos Radakovich’s 90-Second Science Lessons for Teachers
Now you can bring this exciting science series into your classroom. Explore Bone-eating Worms, Terraforming Mars, Flying Snakes, Flat Earth, Monterey Submarine Canyon, Sea Otters, and dozens of other science segments using Milos’ newly published book called 90 Seconds, audio CD and teacher workbook. Milos’ scientific approach to problem solving and environmental protection can be used with different age levels and for a variety of subjects.
This effort was funded by a generous grant from HSBC, a world-wide financial institution with offices in our area.
In the 90-second package you will find the following:
* A 90 Seconds book with 50 of Milos’ favorite programs * A companion audio CD* * A teacher workbook keyed to the book and CD * Evaluation materials (a requirement of our funding)
Filled with vocabulary lists and sample lesson plans, the materials are intended to serve as a supplemental science resource for teachers in the Monterey Bay region.
We invite you will use these materials in your classroom and find benefit and enjoyment through this project. As Milos would say, “Learning new stuff about the natural environment can be fun at any age!” To order a copy for use in your classroom, call Virginia Wright at KUSP – 831-476-2800 x220, or send an e-mail to vawright (at) kusp (dot) org and include:
