Barry Scott and Wendy Harrison are the coordinators for Region 6a, working together with an Advisory Committee made up of local educators and environmental stakeholders. Together, the members of the Region 6a staff work in concert with 15 other Coordinators in 11 Educational Regions throughout California. Regional Coordinators are responsible for evaluating Environmental Education resources and assessing them for quality of content, developing a directory of these resources for teachers, and providing teachers with access to that information electronically as well as a Calendar of environmental education events and Resource Directory. We are adding new EE programs and resources to the directory all the time. Look through our growing list of local resources or search among the hundreds of curriculum resources available statewide. We invite you to come back and use the directory frequently!
