Learning activities are organized by grade levels, subject areas, and multidisciplinary themes, "Connecting Curriculum and Technology" presents technology foundation standards for all students. Generously illustrated with charts and tables, each activity outline includes performance indicators, references to national content standards, tools and resources, stories and advice from the writers, a summary of what the activity will accomplish, and descriptions of what students will do.

Most major education associations, including ASCD, collaborated with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) in the development of this document.
