California Standardized Testing

Starting in the Spring of 2004, fifth grade students have been taking the mandatory California Standards Test in Science.

Two reference sheets for 5th grade were released. The students are able to use both of these during their CST, and teachers are encouraged to use them prior to the test to familiarize the students with them. The two reference sheets are: The Mineral Identification Table and Mohs Hardness Scale and 5th Grade Periodic Table.

The reference sheets: High School Periodic Table, High School Chemistry Formulas, and Physics have been revised since some of the standards are no longer being assessed.
