Gardening has the potential of working into the curriculum in many ways, math, social science, science, and language arts to name a few. Teachers, write us a paragraph describing how native plants will be used in your curriculum, or have your students tell us. Based on your message, we will provide appropriate free classroom supplies from the lists below.
- Posters (22”x34”) of California Native Plants
- Grasses
- Shrubs of Coast Ranges
- Native Oaks
- Coast Wildflowers
- Desert Wildflowers
- San Bernardino Mountains flowers

Describe the type of content desired. CNPS will find a book to match your request. Samples of books that can be obtained include:

- Early uses of California native plants
- Plants in special places: deserts, wetlands, vernal pools, Sierra Nevada, Eaton Canyon in Pasadena (a CD of plants).
- Specific types of plants: conifers, oaks, Torrey Pines, salvias, penstemons, annual wildflowers, natives in general.
