December 2008 for Students

Disney's Environmentality Challenge

Registration Deadline: December 19, 2008

This program provides an opportunity for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes in the State of California to “think green.” The purpose is to encourage students to think and act environmentally at school, at home and in their communities.  Third and fourth grade students can participate in the pledge, and fifth grade students are invited to also participate in the class project where they target a real-world environmental problem, then develop and implement an action plan to address it.
The program is the result of a unique partnership between The Walt Disney Company, the California Environmental Education Interagency Network, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
