Several organizations give grants for environmental education efforts. "Request for Proposal" or RFP's are public announcements to disseminate information regarding these grants. SchoolGrants Newsletter and Website Grant Writing Tips is a great website by an experienced grant writer. She shares grant planning questions, basic proposal elements, and grant seeking links. SchoolGrants is an excellent, up to date resource for teachers looking for grants. You can sign up for a email newsletter update of available grants. The site contains helpful information on approaching deadlines, federal education funding issues, and other opportunities for schools. Below are some of the most recent opportunities.
